With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

That's a bummer. His solo shows are where his personality really comes through. And somehow he gets a full sound from his guitar. It's weird cause I don't really like accoustic sets.

That's a tough one. Has to be,

#1 Björk London Palladium 11/98 very very closely followed by Pulp, The Junction, Cambridge 05/94 (complete with about only 20 people turning up for the personalised touch)

In no particular order:

Roxy Music - Concord Pavilion 2003

Electrafixion - Ventura Theater 96/97 (weird place for them to play, great set, got to meet Will and Mac afterwards)

Slowdive/Ride - Isla Vista-UCSB 91/92

Chameleons - Great American Music Hall (both times, you can barely make me out in the balcony on the DVD they released of their 2nd time thru town)

Gang of Four - Fillmore 2005

Elvin Jones

Pharaoh Sanders

McCoy Tyner

Mogwai - Bimbos 2003

Television - Fillmore

Banshees - Seven Year Itch Tour (Sioux's voice was crap, but I had never seen them the first time around so it was still special)

Robin Guthrie (got to meet him after the show)

I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but that's all my feeble mind can conjure up right now.
