Recoil

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Recoil

All this Depeche Mode excitement over Sounds of the Universe has me pulling out my Recoil collection and marvelling at Alan Wilder's production skills. While he is definitely not in ML Gore's league when it comes to song composition his production prowess and creation of atmosphere is in my opinion unmatched.

I love "Last Breath" from Unsound Methods ESPECIALLY the part from 2:57 to 3:20
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

The only Recoil album I like from begining to end is Bloodline. Its amazing.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

I liked Unsound Methods but subHuman came across to me as a slightly artsy Moby album. The whole electronica/blues thing has been done to death already. Still some interesting sounds to be found if you have the inclination.
