Is VT really that much more active than bunnymenforum.com

Have a question about the website or a suggestion? Found a typo? Something not working right on the forum?

Can you run the numbers on what percentage of posts mention Jake Brockman?

10 topics mention "Jake Brockman" which is about .7% of total posts. My guesstimate is that 100% of them were by JackT.

The most active forum section is the "Echo and the Bunnymen" section by a nose over "Over The Wall"

Of the most "active" topics, ones with the most replies, 6 out of 10 are Bunnymen topics

The top 3 most viewed topics are all Bunnymen topics.

but....of those topics......how many actually STAY on topic??

It's a joke. He is obscure, so making like he is famous is funny. See?

Based on that alone I would say that JackT is correct that this forum has roughly double the participation rate as the official forum.

As a check, I kept track of the post count over the past 5 days. In that time period, VT had nearly quadruple the posts, so it does seem like it is more active here.

Hmmm.. could you point out the non-drivel content over there? I saw someone had some RAH tickets for sale. After that....

Some poor soul attempted a band-related topic with "who is Charlie Clown" and mojo told them to Google it. Nice.

I think we need a drivel to total posts ratio (DTP) for both forums. That might answer the question.
