Some culture and advice from whence Halloween actually originated.

The kids have to work for their treats here - no 'party piece' no treat.

I hope you park your vehicle in the garage

When I was a kid, that kind of shit would've gotten you Milky Way miniatures smashed in your car door-locks.

The only worse retribution on those handing out so-called "treats": Petroleum jelly smeared on the hood (or bonnet, if you will), covered in a nice layer of millet-mix birdseed.

The vaseline loosens the paint, and the birdseed scrapes it off

I was left on candy duty whilst the wife took the children around to scavenge. As I got deeper into the candy supply, I discovered that the bottom third was nothing but bags of pretzels. She hung me out there with PRETZELS. Nice.

Haha, I used to work with a man who told me that when he was little and would go trick-or-treating that one of his neighbors would give him a single Necco Wafer!

Here are some pics of the action around here tonight. I only took cute little kids pics but there were some awesome costumes tonight. We had hundreds of kids. There was a whole group of kids with the most professional looking bullet holes, knife wounds etc. There was also a group that was wheeling a kid on a hand-truck, and the kid would stay perfectly still, like a corpse. It was quite a strange sight.

Forgot to mention the most creepy part! I left my little basket of candy out on the stoop while I went in to eat dinner and then the doorbell rang. I went to the door and got the basket to give candy to the kids and ....YUK! What was inside the basket? 2 SLUGS had crawled inside!!!

BTW-loved your "never shove the banger on your arse at Halloween video kook!!!

Red,

It's been very entertaining reading. All the obvious aliases I mean.

We have 2 more hours until trick or treaters start here. It usually has to be dark first. I don't know why. :?

The little kids are so cute, Moonies!

My kids went out with their friends tonight, so I get to stay at home. 8)

But, I do wish I had some Neccos.... :D

i miss passing out candy! i used to dress up like a witch and sit on the porch swing and hold a big pot of candy, and when the kids walked up on the porch they thought i wasn't real, until i moved to hold out the dish! scared the crap out of them! didn't mean to, it was funny though! hehehee we moved to the country and now we don't get trick-or-treaters. :( but since the kids are in band they have to march in the halloween parade, so we aren't home anyhow. the kids all trick-or-treat after the parade. i'm finding that less and less people are passing out candy each year! you have to walk so far between houses that have their lights on. (but shit, at the price of candy bars, i can't blame them!) :?
