Glastonbury '08

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Glastonbury '08

Watching Editors at Glasto last night on BBC3 I was struck by the resemblence of the main bloke (Tom is it? the one who's got Edith Bowmen up the duff?) to Kenny Everett and the bloke on the bass (don't know his name, don't care frankly) to William Shatner in his later "chunky" years. This amused me no end and greatly enhanced my enjoyment of their rather toe-curling stage antics. Now if Tom had come out dressed as Sid Snot or Gizzard Puke it would have been ace.

Sorry, my latest trip to the wilds of Cumbria has been postponed and I'm a bit bored.

I'm amazed at how much mileage they've gotten out of one mediocre song (Munich) and no charisma whatsoever.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Back room was a good album, and Munich wasn't even the best song on it.

Highlights for me so far : Kings of Leon, Massive Attack, Hot Chip - so that's what Brains from Thunderbirds is doing these days!, Elbow, The Raconteurs and (unbelievably) Jay-Z!
