Have you seen the movie Control yet?

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Have you seen the movie Control yet?

Have you seen this movie?

I'm going tomorrow night. I'm really anticipating it but, I'm a bit saddened thinking of the subject area. The emotionalism will build up probably for me in the theater in the form of tears but, I don't care. Sue me, I'll cry in public.

What did you think of it? I miss Joy Division...

Playing nearby me. I may go.

However brief it may have been, I do think the subject was dealt with well in 24 Hour Party People

The trailer was painful to sit through. I hope the movie is better.

Red, you must rent it.
It's basically the Factory Records story, as told through the voice of Tony Wilson. A lot of players in the Manchester scene actually make cameos

(apologies for the American trailer)

The best is when Hannett leave the drummer from JD sitting on the roof. And forget about him.

I saw it on Friday night at the Ritz Bourse with a good friend. We did get "emotional" but, it was when we talked about it in the car. I cried so hard too, once I was in my warm bed at home. I laid there, looking out of the window at the night sky, just simply crying silent tears.

The movie was one of the most beautiful portrayals of a life gone terrible I'd ever seen.

On a humourous note, I had to go to the restroom SOOOO bad once the movie began but, I held it in the entire time. LOL I didn't want to miss any part of it all.

It was very, very touching and yet, so tragic. I felt very, very horrible and only wished the man could've received help. God Bless his family and friends remaining however.

I totally and thoroughly recommend you seeing it mainly because it teaches respect for EVERYONE and how life is so precious.....

GO SEE IT.
