Mrs Dr Cheese had Corrie on the other night - I only saw it for a few minutes but I didn't know who any of the characters were apart from Rita who must be getting on for 80 by now! I think the last time I watched it Eddie Yates and Stan Ogden were bin men and Annie Walker was running The Rovers!

Back in the day one of my favourite lines was when Hilda had bought some perfume and Stan's saying 'what's that smell' and she says with an air of sensuality not seen before, 'woman stanley, woman'. About the last time I saw it was when curly pulled raquel.

See totally wrong again - what's wrong with my memory - its lipstick and a wedding anniversary

Is Albert Tatlock still in it? Used to love Albert Tatlock. He'd have fitted in lovely here with us bunch of miserable bastards.
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'
