Stranger Things

Was wondering if anyone else was watching this Netflix series. At the end of one episode, the credits roll to "Nocturnal Me." So cool.
The very next episode opened with Joy Division's"Atmosphere." It takes place in 1983.

If Steven Spielberg and Stephen King fucked and had a TV baby, it would be STRANGER THINGS.

Watched a bit of it, OK, not best thing I've seen - bit 80s Spielbergian with weird kids, but Mrs FC seemed to like it - but then she likes the walking dead so go figure - obv jokes about her marrying me will be disregarded.

Up to episode 6, not sure what's going on to be honest but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The only disconcerting thing is Winona Ryder looking a dead ringer for Lorraine Kelly!

Jesus, time is a terrible thing.

There were a couple of other distractions too - Chris Moyles playing the police sheriff, the kid who was a boy but I had to Google him because I thought he was a girl (playing a boy) but was an actual boy, but had a girls face, the kid with no teeth lisping all over the place, the girl playing a girl but looking a bit like a boy. I tell you it was all I could do to concentrate on the plot.

Finished it now, very enjoyable in an ET meets The Goonies at The Breakfast Club Stand By Me Monster Movie kind of way. Not sure where they can go with it for Season 2 but I'll watch it anyway.

Anyone else think that's how Winona Ryder behaves in real life?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Winona Ryder is just a human construct and doesn't actually exist in real life.

I'm pretty sure musicians don't really exist either.
