My new favorite show...

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

My new favorite show...

I'm not usually one to watch reality shows, but now that "True Blood" is finished for the season and "Dexter", "Homeland" and "The Walking Dead" haven't returned, I have a great filler (pun intended)......"Big Ang"!!! I hated those petty, nasty, classless, stupid bitches (I know, I know....that's the perfect woman for a lot of you) on "Mob Wives" where I first saw Big Ang. She is a little low class (here's my "measuring stick" on class for women: the longer the nails, the lower the class) but all she wants to do is treat her friends well, spend her money, and find ways to make money. She makes me laugh throughout the entire show, and my most memorable quote to date is: "I'm not a drag queen, I'm a woman. So stop busting my (fucking) balls." I love her.

Jesus, that's a lot of telly. Do you have a cleaner?

I do my own cleaning, and I have five healthy kids who help (or else!). I really don't watch a lot of tv, but I am loyal to a few shows. Plus, none of them (usually) overlap, so when one series is over, I'll watch the next one in the lineup. I DVR everything, so if I don't view it in real time, I can zip through the crap and get to the good stuff. I only watch tv after I have had my daily soak in the tub eating bon bons after Julio, my cabana boy, has slathered sunscreen on me before swimming laps in the pool, which is BEFORE the mani/ pedi/ massage while I chat with all my girlfriends on the phone.

Did you know that 'bon bons' is an anagram of 'nob nobs'?

I've heard that stay at home Moms like to make fake calls to plumbers and appliance repair companies in order to seduce the service men in order to quench their sexual thirst because their overworked husbands are too tired and drunk when they get home. True?

I can't say it's true. I can do most of my own basic plumbing and home repairs, but I don't mess around with electrical stuff. The guy I like to call for that looks like the dude from "Wings" with the dark hair and mustache, David Schramm. Otherwise, the only hottie worker I know was the Invisible Fence installer from about ten years ago. He looked like Bono but didn't have dark hair.

No shame in doing your own solo work from time to time
