I'm suprised no one has brought this up. What an accomplishment from the NASA team who worked on this project! My husband was very much into this, so I had to start with the "Do you know how many starving children could have been fed with the money the government spent on this??" type of stuff. I love to see him get all worked up and defensive about it. :biggrin:

I had a very sad realization yesterday: the scientists who are particiapting in the Mars Curiosity mission are in better shape than I am I will remedy that soon.

thats what they said when that bloke borrowed money to buy a boat and discovered america - hey, and look what they found!!!!!! We also spent billions on getting more medals than ever before and still the weak and feeble die.
