Hatfields and McCoys

Anyone watching this? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? I dvr'd it the other night hoping it would be fab: I find it to be a big snoozefest. I'm only about halfway into part one, so maybe I need to give it a chance. If I'm not in love by the end of that episode then it's buh bye Costner and Paxton. The best line of the show so far was said by Mare Winningham when she said "I'm prepared to fulfill my wifely duties, but I ask that you spill your seed outside of my body because I could not bear another birth." Amen, sister.

Well there's nothing like one's son knocking up the daughter of your rival to get a story moving along. I ended up liking this the more I watched it, but those two families let their bitterness run and ruin their lives. The hatred between them lasted more than 130 years (and I thought my mother in law could hold a grudge when she was alive). If I was a drinkin' woman, I would have suggested the game when you take a swig everytime the words "my" or "our kin" were spoken and gotten hammered before the first commercial.

If I had a nickel every time I heard that one...
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Didn't she say pretty much the same thing to Rob Lowe in St. Elmo's Fire?

Watched Parts 1 and 2 last night. I think it's pretty good. It's hard at first to keep all the characters straight. They all kind of look the same.
