With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I'm sure I'll take a beating for this, but I don't drink. I added nothing of value to this thread :)

Just like Billy and me. We're the resident vodka bottle a day gals.

Didn't know that you could get beer with more than a 3. something alcohol/vol in the US or is that only for the mainstream beers .

The states of Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Utah permit general establishments such as supermarket chains and convenience stores to sell only low-point beer.

In these states, all alcoholic beverages containing more than 3.2% alcohol by weight (ABW) must be sold from state-licensed liquor stores. Oklahoma additionally requires that any beverage containing more than 3.2% ABW must be sold at normal room temperature.

Utah is a trip. I bought some Newcastle there and those liquor stores don't refrigerate. I suppose to force you to go home, refigerate and think about the sin you're about to commit.

I've had beer with an alcohol content of 17% and Sam Adams makes a beer with 27% but at 130.00 US a bottle I'll pass.

Okay from the same Telegraph brewer I tried these two last night

Golden Wheat Ale (Alcohol by volume: 5.0%; O.G.: 12° P / 1.048):

Pale and refreshingly tart, Telegraph Golden Wheat is a complex ale that embodies the best of traditional, unfiltered wheat beers. Pouring with a generous, creamy white head, the aromas of fresh citrus and delicate spices are immediately apparent. This beer should be savored with lighter fare such as seafood and grilled chicken, or is perfect as an aperitif as the sun starts to cast long shadows at the end of a hot summer day. One last tip: skip the slice of lemon… this is a wheat ale with a flavor that stands up on its own!

^^^ I've never had anything like it. I thought it was delicious (they're not lying about the citrus taste) though I was th only one. Went well with hummus and pita bread.

Rhinoceros (Alcohol by volume: 10.0%; O.G.: 23° P / 1.092):

The rhinoceros may not be the king of the jungle, but he commands respect nonetheless. Powerful and distinctive, Telegraph Rhinoceros pays homage to one of the world's most majestic and endangered creatures. Brewed with a hefty dose of rye malt and balanced by a ridiculous amount of hops, our "rye wine" is truly a unique beast. Be careful... this rhino may seem mellow at first, but is known to charge unexpectedly!

Limited availability.

^^^ All I have to say is fuck yeah.
