Dim View of Humanity

Postby DivaDiana77 » Wed Dec 23, 2009 9:18 pm

Seems I've got a rather dim view of humanity. I seem to have lost/had stolen my mini digital recorder that I just bought to replace the one that was destroyed by battery acid. A friend asked recently if he could borrow and I wonder if he slipped it out of my bag when we were hanging out. No accusing, just mad at the world. Feck it all. The Orange Juice CD I got in the mail today was supposed to make me feel better. It does, but only when it's playing. Damn, now I can't join BF on a ghost hunting trip and make recordings with it. Not that I was invited, but the idea always amused and frightened me.

It's times like this you have to ask yourself...

WWJOMD?

(What Would John Oates' Mustache Do?)

I think John Oates mustache is much wiser than the mustache that Ian, Will and I never grew.

JOM, as he is affectionately, called would remind me that I have dropped my bag upside down a few times and that it might be in any of those place in which I dropped it, that it's time for the New Year's cleanout and maybe I will find it as I clean or have to buy a new one. But that it would be wrong to accuse a friend who may not have done anything, after all, friendship is worth far more than a mustache, or even $70 to replace the thing.

Wow! WithAHip--yes, it does. Doesn't cure my dim view of humanity but reminds me that not being able to find a mini digital recorder is not the end of the world.

Remind me of that when I start complaining that I accidentally wiped the memory on my shuffle clean.

We should all have a laugh about our "rock n roll lifestyle" This band cracks me up. I don't know that they much $$$, but they sure do make me laugh.
