The kids and I got the vaccine but the missus didn't and now she has the Swine Flu. Keeping a close eye in her in case she goes rabid and I have to pull an Old Yeller on her.

On an unrelated matter are there any single bunnyladys in the Los Angeles area who like kids and turtles?

I wouldn't go looking for a new missus just yet.
Anyone I know who has had it has said it's the lightest bout of flu they've had.
Don't believe the hype.
The swine flu hype is a pharmaceutical industry scam. There's a Dutch WHo adviser under investigation at the moment because he was involved in creating the hype and happens to be on the payroll of a few big pharma. companies. They create demand for their products.

'fraid you're going to have to find a better plan for trading Mrs BF in for a newer model :wink:

What's with all the I hope the missus feels better stuff? She's been in bed all day while I've made the kids breakfast, taken them to the aquarium, taken them out for lunch and am now typing this as my five year old spills cookie crumbs all over me.

I was looking for some pity for me.

And I'm with kook about the swine flu. My kid's doctor was like we're supposed to recommend the vaccine but the truth is all the kids I've seen get over it in a couple of days no big deal.

I hope your wife gets well soon. I think the flu is more harsh towards college students and kids - at least that is what I heard. A college student at UNC Chapel Hill died a week or so ago of it.

Sympathy for you??? Sounds like you are having a glorious amount of quality time with your children. You can take them ghost hunting and whatnot without getting in trouble. Now go to and quit your whining!!!!
