What's this from?

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

What's this from?

Here comes Dr Glanister
Sliding down the banister
Half way down he ripped his pants
Now he's doing the cha-cha dance

It's been bugging me all day. Apparently, it was written by Michael Rosen but I can't
find the full version.
I think it might have been used as a cartoon intro on TV, but I'm not sure.
Anyone know where it's from. I going nuts ova hea!

http://www.michaelrosen.co.uk/hackneystreets2.html

And someone's posted this online:

"I had the German Measles
I had them very bad
They wrapped me in a blanket
And put me in a van
The van was very bumpy
I nearly tumbles out
And when i got to hospital
I heard a baby shout
'Mama, Dada take me home
From this little rusty home
I've been here a year or two
And now i want to stay with you!'
Here comes doctor doctor brown
looking up and looking down
'Are you ill or are you not?'
'Yes i am you silly clut!'
Here comes doctor clannister
sliding down the bannister
half way down he ripped his pants
and now he is doing the cha cha dance!
cha cha cha cha cha cha cha cha
cha cha cha cha
*whispered* cha cha chaaa!"

oh, clannister! That must be why I wasn't getting much on google. It doesn't seem
to be on Michael Rosen's site.
Thanks a mil.
Now I just need to figure out where I know if from.

It's Glannister on the Rosen site. Is it related to children's TV?

This is the new Lime Tree Arbour.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Please God no
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Maybe it is a nursery rhyme then.
