Villiers Terrace Pub and Dining Room

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Villiers Terrace Pub and Dining Room

It looks like this place started in 2009. They must have known about the Bunnymen song right? I'm pretty sure Ian made that up. I'll bet they were unhappy when they found out the domain name they likely wanted was not available.

Has anyone been there?

I just noticed that they have "Villiers" spelled "Villers" in the title bar of most of the pages (the most upper left part of your browser window).

They have a kids menu so BF and I can go. I have a question though are "Free range corn-fed chicken goujons" the same as Chicken Nuggets and can I get honey-mustard AND BBQ sauce or is that extra?

This pub offers "traditional" gastro British cooking inspired by Jamie Oliver and his entourage. All the rage in a lot of southern pubs - Gloucester old spot pork, Cornish crab, Aberdeen Angus, pigeon, rabbit. Free-range is bollocks though, same with that "natural" products label - just because it was running around in a field, it usually costs more. Should be better quality though than your ordinary run of the mill meals served in chain restaurants. I eat alot of the meats (especially old spot) that this place serve and it is much more yummier (old spot sausages, mashed potato, onion gravy... hmmm). Probably down to how good the chef is and the service as to whether this place is any good.
