I put Mano and King Clang out to sun themselves yesterday and some stray cat made off with Mano. Now I have to
a) go to the pet store and buy another turtle about the same size as Mano and lie to my kid
b) work on a better outdoor area for the turtles so they'll be safe
c) poison that fucker cat
as I told withahip it's not about vengeance, it's about protecting the turtles. And if someone is going to let their cat come into my backyard, kill my kid's turtle and shit on my yard well then I can't be held responsible for what happens next.

I am sorry for your loss. Don't lie to your kid about the turtle. It's time to learn about the cycle of life and the food chain. Maybe you can demonstrate that by also killing the cat and calling it a compromise.
