No hard feelings, then?

I'd like to thank Kounelaki and France for their early support.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I guessed what the clip would be before I clicked it. It didn't exactly take great powers of divination though.

They chopped his head off in the Revolution, didn't they?

"Lafayette would have been tried for treason had he not defected (August 19) to the Austrians, who held him captive until 1797. When Napoleon Bonaparte came to power in 1799, Lafayette returned to France and settled down as a gentleman farmer. He sat in the Chamber of Deputies during most of the reign of King Louis XVIII (1814–24), and in 1824–25 he visited the United States, where he was received with wild adulation. In July 1830 he commanded the national guard that helped overthrow King Charles X and install Louis-Philippe on the throne. Lafayette retired six months later."

Lafayette = awesome.

If only the previous administration had known/cared anything about history. Might have saved us all from the humiliation of "freedom fries." Wonder if they serve those at Guantanamo?

In New England, no Fourth of July is complete without Boston baked beans, a sweet and savoury dish of navy or white beans baked with brown sugar, molasses, a bit of mustard and chunks of pork, to commemorate those lost to British troops in the Boston Massacre

Is it me or is that sentence a bit funny?
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.
