What will YOU be doing on the day of the gigs?

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

I can be, but it can also be great. I have met some wonderful people "off the internet."

For instance, we went on vacation in London a few years back, and we took a few days to go up to Sheffield to visit this couple who were essentially complete strangers to us, except that my wife knew the woman through an internet forum for the TV show "E.R." of all things! The plan was they were going to take us up to York and show us some sights.

As you can imagine I was a little apprehensive, because, let's face it, it was kind of CRAZY, wasn't it?

It turns out it was awesome. We are still friends with Michelle & Paul, and even had them over for Thanksgiving one year (they now live in Texas!)

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, I guess.

I guess it really all turns out that, if the relationship/friendship, etc. is meant to happen upon meeting someone from the Internet, it will. If not, it's not meant to be. I assume there's other positive options.

Good luck!

Meeting people off t'internet is OK...in moderation. Ive met some great people at Bunnymen gigs in years gone by from the official site. Back then there was only half a dozen of us who met up (Carys, Kat, Hasty and Jane etc) as the 7Cs lot went off and did there own thing. Then the "meets" got bigger and bigger and it sort of lost its lustre (apart from Jimbo and Smiffy that is) as the board integrated more.

But id still count the likes of Carys and Smiffy as "actual" friends now. Even though I only see them once a year.

It would be interesting to meet the Cheese - I reckon he about 4ft with really bad acne (only joking Doc).
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

You can catch the odd glimpse of me HERE but you've got to be pretty dedicated.

Ask blackfrancis for some pointers. He does it all the time.

If I had a choice (and I do) I would choose not to enter the portals of The Crown on Lime St.
