I really dig yer Guardian articles but don't consider it the definitive go to place for cultural judgements. Katie, though, maybe I'll give the old man another shot.

As much as I like the BBC Planet Earth series there must be more going on in nature than herds of herbivores being pursued by a pack of carnivores.
