Reminds me of the joke from The Three Amigos: "Do you have anything besides Mexican food?"

Just love that Murican humour!

Meat and two veg - you can't beat it!

Or Polish sausage - kabanos, mysliwska.

No I don't know what they put in it.

Pole on Pole action at the weekend - all good. (Don't - first time ever - GP!)

Finsihed third, just like in World cup in the 70's - twice!

Sorry if too cryptic!

Memories and mightabeens.

Yep, his mama raised him right

How pissed of you think Liz II was when she got a gander at that photo? Or did she just let out a huge titter and autograph a copy for the lad?

Wonder if his mates double dared him to do it

Getting political here

Heard the Chinese Govt spokesperson on the radio today saying how discraceful the actions of a few tibetan seperatists in Paris and London was.

I suppose when you come from a country with 1 billion then the crowds protesting in London and Paris can be considered a few..

I have to say I was quite impressed with the Chinese Infrastructure, the rail, the roads, the buses, the airports and the Hospitals.

Got a postcard from Hangzhou today from a friend whose partner is Taiwanese -- even he had trouble working out what was on the menu.

In America, a partner means a gay long-term lover. Is that what it means in China?

Whenever I go to a social function with my wife, I am tempted to introduce her as my "companion" just for the hell of it.

 the BEST Chinese food i ever ate was in Liverpool, after Lipa!!

(we don't go near the Chinese restaurants around here!) (oh, and when my daughter worked for the Dept of Agriculture, she answered the phone one day to a complaint that the Amish have been seen selling cats to the shop owners behind the Chinese restaurants in Harrisburg!!) (maybe that's why we don't visit them here, we have more Amish in our area!)

i don't know why everyone always busts on British food....i LOVE it! (good thing i love chips!) they do come up with some strange combinations though! hehehee

Why do people always class "British food" as fish and chips? That's like saying American cuisine is just burgers and fries, or steak. Depends on what you are looking for, just as it would in any other country. Find a really decent pub (and not a chain pub) or good restaurant serving traditional British food and it's not that much different to many other European countries. I mean we annoy you lot producing TV chefs like Jamie "Fattwat" Oliver or Gordon "Fuck off, bollocks cunt" Ramsey. They didn't earn their Michelin stars by cooking fish and chips or curries.
