chris informed me that he just won an ebay auction (about 20 mins ago) for a nintendo wii with wii play for $365 (incl shipping) so now we just need another nunchuck controller and some games!!! it says 2-6 day delivery, so here's hoping it gets here by the weekend... (and hoping no missiles hit the UPS truck).

i definitely want guitar hero, and i am thinking about zelda or mario too. but i don't wanna go overboard right away... we're big dorks. any recommendations from you new wii owners of what to get first??

nothing happened to my bass. i still play it. i just like video games too. i will have to challenge my bass teacher to a round of guitar hero though, just to see if "actual" guitar knowledge has any impact on game play. my guess is no. LOL

Excellent! Be sure and post your Wii number and add Frank and I to your address book when you get it. Frank sent me a Mii character that looks like Mac. Ever see Mac go bowling? Now you can.

I think the real Mac would probably be standing out there, smoking a cigarette... checking the stands for hotties.. maybe hitting on a ballgirl or two

ROTFL that's awesome. i will post my number when i get it... i'll have to see how to get it "live" because we will set it up in the living room, but our internet connection is upstairs... so we'll have to figure something out. i haven't looked into that stuff yet... hopefully it will be easy to set up.

Yeah, you need a good arm to play center. I don't see Mac hitting the cuttoff. They do wear shades though, although he may want to switch to flip-ups.

Wii has a built in wireless card. You can do it wired but wireless routers can be had for pretty cheap now.

As nothing is too pathetic and nerdly for this thread, here's a little fun fact: the Xbox 360 wireless adapter is incompatible with the FiOS wireless router. Isn't that something?

No, but i've seen the pre-Gordy/Ste band members go bowling! and I've seen Will and everyone else (cept Mac) play pool! Will put the Rolling Stones on the jukebox! (there's the Stones/bunnymen reference again!)
