Mom jeans, you say? I wore 'em. Circa 1990. I'm the chick on the left

It's just been a very lazy summer, and even though I'm swimming a lot, I'm not working out like I did before school ended. Don't tell Jillian Michaels! She'll just kick my ass that much harder when I start up again.

It sounds like someone has been reading 50 Shades of Grey this summer.

Does dissing Harriet Wheeler constitute starting a discussion of mom jeans?

Oh, Kounelaki. You and your street lingo. I did not "diss" Harriet Wheeler. I believe I said she was an attractive lady with an unfortunate predilection for Mom Jeans.

I have not read that series, but one of my girlfriends has (twice). I read a couple of pages here and there and felt that it was written by a middle schooler, just like I felt the "Twilight" series were.

After watching the Closing Ceremonies, it appears that the only thing Britain has done for the world is give it lots of pop music, some great, some good, some trifling, and some horrendous, and Monty Python. I could have sworn the country has been known for other things.

You should have watched the opening ceremony, then.

Ah, yes, I missed it. I was shepherding two teenagers at a cartoon convention in LA when it was on. I heard something about Mary Poppins slaying Voldemort, but I could be mistaken. And the Queen parachuting out of a helicopter or something.
