Yeah. The books get boring in the same parts, so at least it's authentic.

Does it get more interesting? If I know this is a "set up" season then fine. But after hearing from the actors in interviews "We don't hold back in season two" I think they lied. At least I'm getting jazzed for "True Blood" when they show teasers beforehand, and Russel is back, bitches (which isn't really a surprise since EVERYONE knows you can't kill a vampire unless you stake through the heart, so why didn't Bill think of that before burying him in wet cement??)!

The first three books are generally pretty good. There will be some cool stuff this season. Book four was pretty lame, and five I have yet to slog through.

Best episode of the season. What makes you think the seige lasted only a couple of hours?

Because it was dark when they started and dark when they ended with no sunrise in between. I might be missing something, but I know I didn't fall asleep watching it. Maybe it was just condensed for tv, but still......and I'm hoping that Stannis Shadow makes another appearance soon.

I think that the siege only lasted a little while in the book. Possibly through the night. However... they are really re-writing everything. The wildfire is correct but they did not include the "chain". Also, they didn't cut off Tyrion's nose! Shit. I guess I watch only because it is an intriguing story.

Best show of the season was last night. Too bad they waited until the end to make a good one.

Yeah - it is just like the book. The last chapter was the only good one.

It's crap.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Fairly. He left out the part about the Wights (zombies).
