back to the topic of the thread -- in the space of 12 hours we are back to global warming again -- the snow is all gone in Dublin -- although in the south of the country they have snow which is only about 180 miles away ..

I loved that book and movie! I even watched the TV series. I understand that a remake is being released in 2012 but this has been promised before.

Really? They could do some really cool stuff with it...but it wouldn't be as much fun to watch as the original in all it's outdated modern cheesiness.
