Well at least I can turn the story of withahip's mother and myself into another broadway musical.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Germans know it, too!
Hasselhoff had one number-one hit in the German pop charts in 1989 ("Looking for Freedom"), which very much resonated with the fall of the Berlin Wall at that time, and two more top-ten hits in 1989 and 1993.

Well I don't know if we wanna go basing anything on the Germans. My German friend is a fan of Rod Stewart's current "work" and Robbie Williams.
