Elementary my dear Fat Cherry. Duke mentioning that the Sneaker Pimps' video was shown in that episode (no Fluke) as well as the presenter's name was key to solving this most intriguing mystery. And by power of reasoning (and the interwebs, erm, the interwebs mostly) I was able to deduce the exact episode, which was broadcast on 28th September 1996, and therefore, the mysterious video that has troubled Duke for so many years. Mrs Hudson!

Really impressive detective work Ghostie. The Sneaker Pimps' song fooled me into thinking the programme was broadcast in 1997 because it was re-released a year after its original release. I even spent hours trawling through the indie charts from the now defunkt ITV music show The Chart Show on You Tube hoping I would come across the girl with the denim shorts.
