also one of the pleasures of watching a brazil game, only they seem to wear even less than the dutch ladies.

This is very true. When my brood were young, I sat through many games. Now its just a memory and might have been.

We signed up my oldest son for soccer and after the second game he got bored with it. I don't blame him though it was just go out there and kick a ball. No tactics to speak of. Plus my youngest son is sensitive to sound and every time the buzzer sounded he freaked. I guess my kids are destined for tennis just like their dad.

Tennis eh? Can cause serious wrist problems you know. I mean you wouldn't want to damage your wrist action would you?

Buzzer in soccer? Can't imagine one would go off more than twice in a game.

It was indoors and echo-y so it was pretty fucking loud even without the buzzer and he barely tolerated that. One buzzer was enough for him to call it a day.

i was always rubbish at footy school, plus what with it being the national sport and all that, there were loads of billy bremner wanabees (my school was right next to elland road ground in leeds) so it was fairly easy at first to not take part that much. When I did I just decided the best thing to do was whenever it came to me, get rid of it as soon as possible. Unfortunately this tends to get seen as being not all that bad and so getting picked for the team. bad times.

It's good isn't it. I'd even go for that kind of format over here given that we do get an overload of football.
