I've noticed the trend lately for local news stations to use a suspect's entire name (first, middle, last) when reporting on a crime-based story. It makes the perp seem even that more scummy.

Personally, I always use my middle name. That's In The Margins to you, sir.

I hate fuckers who alter their names to sound pretentious or more "artistic". The ones who use an initial for the first name then go with their middle and last name

Sad fuckers all trying to be F Scott Fitzgerald or something. I'm sure this morning someone named Robert Kenneth Walker who wants to be a writer woke up and said "you know from now on I will go by R Kenneth Walker"

It does sound snappier than Bob Walker you have to admit. I guess it depends on the type of material you write too. Bob Walker sounds like a guy who might write a C++ Programmers Manual or a travel guide of things to do in Denver or something.

I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't the person deciding one day to start calling themselves that. It's like giving yourself your a nickname then asking everyone to call you by it.

Like if some dude went around internet forums going by "black francis" or something. I hate fuckers like that.
