And people stand up and stretch all the time because the game is so boring.

And by all the time he means once during the 7th inning.

ha ha, no that's a snippet you would hear during the game itself, like when a guy steps out of the box and kicks dirt off his shoes, or in between batters, etc.

"Take me out to the Ballgame" is invariably played during the SES.

And stretch their balls
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Legend has it that President Taft inspired another baseball tradition on that same day, quite by accident. As the face-off between the Senators and the Athletics wore on, the rotund, six-foot-two president reportedly grew more and more uncomfortable in his small wooden chair. By the middle of the seventh inning he could bear it no longer and stood up to stretch his aching legs — whereupon everyone else in the stadium, thinking the president was about to leave, rose to show their respect. A few minutes later Taft returned to his seat, the crowd followed suit, and the "seventh-inning stretch" was born.

A charming tale, but folklorists have a saying: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.
