heres a 'you had to be there' story....

a few years ago (5 or 6) whn my youngest was still at junior school she used to stay late on a tuesday for cookery club. I picked her up one night and as they all packed up their cakes or whatever they had made the teacher, a pretty young thing with long golden hair (just like junior school teachers are meant to be) she's urging the kids to get a move on and leave and says to them, 'good night, see you next tuesday' at which one little girls stops dead in her tracks , looks shocked and says 'miss..... thats really really rude....' Teach looks a bit puzzled and then realizing what the kid means (and probably seeing the assembled waiting parents smirking and thinking, go on get out of that one then) decides to just pretend she hasn't heard, does the clapping hands thing and rushes the kids out of the classroom. Like I said, had to be there really. I'll get me coat.
