Trainspotting. Busy time at work and trying to train someone so won't leave em in a lurch come december. You gonna be there? CD? If not, we'll have to have a drink come september. Don't know how I'm gonna pull that one off yet.

Great CD! I'm gonna have to be a really good girl to pull this one off.

K I'll be at both shows. I've been waiting a long time to see them on their home turf. Shows in the US have to many casual fans. You going for drinks before? Or Will's party?
Am little disappointed we only have a light blanket of the white stuff and probably be gone pretty fast. Definitely need caffeine to keep going today.

I'm drinking coffee right now, Rusty. Looking forward to meeting you at some point during the weekend. Hope you can make it for September, too.

Yeah Rusty and Barricades Babe. You gals gotta come!!! It's gonna be BRILLIANT and we can all rent rooms in the same hotel as CD and Kounelaki and have a fantastic rocking time in Sept. Should I rent a room now?

Maybe we could luck out and get to be in audience of Graham's show, too. I think he'd love having a group of fangirls sitting in.

I think that if you book a room in advance through Expedia, you don't have to pay until you get to the hotel. It might be worth checking out for budgeting reasons. I'll probably be staying with friends in London.

and then you gotta call every week to check if they still have your reservation! ;-)

i booked online that way one time and i called the hotel to say i wanted to PREpay to make sure i had a room when i got there (for bunnymen in NYC) and they ASSURED me the room would be there, but lo and behold, it wasn't. they overbooked. i DEMANDED a room anyway, and told them to make SOMEONE ELSE go to their other branch farther up manhattan, because i was in a hurry and was ASSURED i'd have the room, even tho the travel site didn't let me prepay.

i usually like the pay when you get there method, but i always call the hotel now to book directly with them if i'm in NYC!

one other time in the UK somewhere they didn't even have a *record* of the reservation! LUCKILY they weren't completely full!
