Sigur Ros or Ikea?

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Mr Brian, that's a bit like, (english cultural education for non-brits here) back in the seventies on a telly show called 'Crossroads', about the crossroads Motel there was a dim but likeable bumpkin type character called Benny, which became a bit of a slang term for such simple types. Not that it got much momentum until the Argentinians decided they wanted the Falkland Islands back and old Maggie sent the troops in. After victory (yay!) the newspapers were reporting that the troops referred to the locals as 'Bennies'. I know, not that interesting.

Funnily enough the other week when we went to see Nick Cave in Manchester Mrs FC announces that since we're going to the big city we ought to pop into Ikea to get a wardrobe she's beeen after for the spare room. So that's what we did. Running out of time a bit so she says 'shall we have something to eat here?' And that's what we did. She said 'I'm having meatballs, (and that's what she did) what about you', I picked something else, can't remember but it was awful, dry as a bone, so I had to keep pinching a bit of her meatball gravy (which is the most ungravy like gravy in the world. Not a fan. And I broke a tooth. Well it was more like a bit of a tooth fell off rather than it snapped on a meatball.

Getting a spare room ready for you is she FC? That's a bad sign, losing your teeth won't help much either.
