That list must have been written by an American because it's missing quite a few good (non-American) 80s bands. I can think of at least 15 that aren't on the list.
Even if some were one-hit wonders, they deserve a place above Toni Basil, no?

I do. Nice mullet in the vid, too. I would agree also on the incompleteness of the list and the unfortunate inclusion of some of the more questionable (CHEESY) American bands.

Remember that hoax when they had the Wayriders lip sync "Poppy Fields?" I think it was to prove that the Alarm could still write good songs even though they were considered "old" because that was later in their career. Then, when the song became popular, they revealed themselves. Great experiment.
