Nothin says "I Love America" like Burn a Quran Day

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Is this where I post that Life Of Brian scene? Or where I mention our allies in Pakistan still do this?

I saw a lot of stoners in college.

(AP) Los Angeles, CA. Villiers Terrace's most annoying poster, DivaDiana77 staged an art exhibit using funds from an NEA grant. Her most controversial work, "The Shroud of Turin in Urine" she declared was an homage to '80s post-punk legends, Echo and the Bunnymen.

The display references one of the recent songs from The Bunnymen's 2009 effort, "The Fountain." Most attending the installation could not remember any recent Bunnymen songs and were not aware of "The Fountain."

"The Shroud of Urine in Turine" was declared morally offensive by the Pope. Various Muslim interest groups protested outside as she enacted "Burn A Quran Day," a performance art piece in which she burned a Koran while singing "The Killing Moon" operatically. DivaDiana77 was escorted out the back to a bulletproof car fearing for her safety. She muttered, "This is JackT's fault."

JackT's attorney released a statment, "JackT did not intend for DivaDiana77 to apply for a grant and/or perform these works." The NEA was not available for comment.

If ever I have cause to form an Islamic 80's pop tribute act I'll be leaning toward "Koran Koran" as a band name
