A workmate has invited me to be a friend on facebook.

I dont mix work with pleasure.

One of my employees has allowed workmates to be friends on facebook, but puts them in a work group and doesn't allow that group to see status updates, etc . Or you can ignore the fb request and then become friends on Linked In which is for work. Or just be honest that you really don't want to be friends in any way - virtual or real.

I told him i dont mix work with pleasure.

I think he understood.

Thanks you guys.

The archivist one seemed over complicated.

Im an upfront guy - I was flattered by the request.

A sign of respect.
