I have the day off, so I decided to go see the new Indy movie.
For big visual spectacles, I steer away from the multiplex, and head to the Cinerama - a huge single-screen theater, with state of the art sound and projection.
The only showing not sold out for today was the 9:30am.
I walked down there (about 6 blocks away), and stood in the box office line (mostly people picking up tickets the bought online). I was in line like 3 minutes when a guy came up the line, giving away tickets (some of his buddies didn't show). So I snagged a free ticket from him (and handed him a movie pass I had tucked in my wallet).
It was a decent movie, with a good mix of action and humor.
It was also good to see Harrison Ford back in the role. I've always thought he was best as Indy & Han Solo.
