Celebs who are Bunnymen fans

Celebs who are Bunnymen fans. Do you know of any? And do you know any celeb quotes on Ian and/or the Bunnymen, please post them here.

I can only think of Chris Martin and Nicole Kidman.

Michael Imperioli from the Soprano's had the Bunnymen play at his club in NYC called the Fez for his birthday.

Liam Gallagher is another fan.

I've heard that Steven Tyler and Nicholas Cage have been spotted at shows in the past.

I was going to mention Imperioli, I'm a huge fan of the Sopranos. I don't know why, but I find it kinda funny he's such a big fan. I guess because of the role he plays on the show. I know it's acting, but still.

I believe Nicole Kidman, Christina Applegate and Gary Sinise are all fans as well. Could be wrong, though.

That's innacurate.
The show at Fez was a showcase for the music press.
From what I hear, Imperioli was there, and was at Irving Plaza the following night.

he was a huge fan. after one of the other NYC shows (Beacon Theatre Nov 2001/Furs tour) he closed his bar to the public and the entire band and road crew went over for drinks. (even Mac!) me and my daughter and chris adams were there too. (and a couple other fans, but i can't remember who else right now) it was funny because the whole time i was there i never found out which guy was in the Sopranos! (i had never watched it)

it was a really cool little bar called Ceil Rouge on 7th ave. the whole place was red inside! i took a friend there after the Nick Cave gig in June of 2003, but when i tried to take another friend there in Sept that same year it was closed. :frown: shame. i really liked that little red bar!

i see the Fez is closed now too. edit: (i only know that coz after reading Brian's post i was a little confused (coz i didn't go to the Fez show, but i knew he owned the place i was at) so i googled to see if the Sopranos guy owned both places. now i've just read Frank the Bunny's post, and see it wasn't his club) pity i didn't ever watch the Sopranos, i probably could have fell over him at Irving Plaza too, and wouldn't have known it!

maybe the Ciel Rouge thing was for his birthday?
nope, just googled that too and his b/day is in March. oh well, no big deal.....the guy is still a fan and he had all the Bunnymen at his bar for drinks after the show. i do know that much!
pfft!
