I was in Starbucks today getting some ice tea and saw that CD. I was looking at it, and the counter girl (in her 20s) said, "That's a great album! We've been playing it a lot."

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I didn't buy the CD and I didn't buy any coffee. Just a tazo ice tea lemonade
I've already got most everything on that CD anyway. It's kind of an odd mix of bands -- Roxy Music and the Ramones, Gen X and the Tom Tom Club. And apparently there's another like compilation -- Senses Working Overtime -- that features some of the same bands. Here's one young un's take on it (grammar problems and all

When they have to quote Wikipedia to figure out what New Wave means, then I know I'm really old.
Thanks for digging that review out, Z!

I dreaded the day when I would hang out with other people talking about people in their 20s.
The day has arrived.
