Sorry. I should have put the wink emoticon in the post instead of the big grin one.

In addition to pet medical insurance being available for purchase, I think pet life insurance policies are also available. It's a great world.

so?

i don't have to pay for hotels when i come over and i get great deals on my flights.
but what i do with my spending money has nothing to do with doctor bills. and it cracks me up when people ask me how i can afford to go to the UK....all i say back to them is, how can you afford to smoke? add it up!

besides, have you seen the price of fucking doctor bills over here? i don't think you have any idea. i can almost buy a plane ticket with the cost of going to the doctor for a few tests that they usually run that isn't even necessary! (and that's after insurance) you have to be near death in this house to go to the doctor! good thing our family is healthy.

but yet the people on fucking welfare can afford to go to the doctor for free every time they sneeze coz our hard working dollars pay for it. and your anitbiotics are about 1/10 of the cost of ours. so really, you have no idea.

where? in the UK? never done the entire tour. done 5 or 6 shows one time back in 2002 and 4 on the last tour. depends where the shows are. but i'm very thrifty with finding cheap rooms and i always buy the CHEAP train tickets too. you just gotta know when to buy.

i certainly don't do the whole tour over here either!! one time i put 2,300 miles on the car in 6 shows, but i had people to stay with at every show, and my daughter came with me and we shared gas and toll costs.

i don't know why i need to justify any of this to anyone. it's my business how i spend my money. and so what if i refuse to pay it out to greedy doctors unless it's extremely necessary!

my whole point was that i can't afford to take my KIDS to the doctor, so i sure as fuck ain't gonna pay to take an animal to the vet! THAT was the point. nothing to do with me flying to the UK to see a band.

you dont, but you're just too easy to wind up. you wont be voting for hilary then? Actually I have no idea how much our antibiotics cost are because they're all free. really, you should come and live here, milk & honey and all that, and you get wheels on your bins - thats free too. And we make the poor people clean the streets, with their tongues, unless they've had them cut out because they've been giving the nice working people too much lip.

Red,

You SO hit the head w/ the money...LOL

Doctors, dentists, specialists (of any practice) cost a FORTUNE over here. If you're forunate to have a job that pays for any portion of your medical insurance, consider yourself blessed. Don't even mention Rx costs too (yet, Wal-Mart & Shoprite now claim to have 90 day supplies for $12 yet, they MUST be generics....)

I pay every month a portion of my salary for all of these types of insurances, not to mention my other bills, etc.

I'm soo TOTALLY NOT made of $ yet, how I'm affording to go to both of the UK gigs this year (and RCMH too) is by EXACTLY what Red stated. I work 1000+ hours of OT, spend less on ANYTHING (no fags, booze, good-times, clothes, name-brands of any type of product). Plus, being involved w/ an airline & hotel club does have its benefits. Thank God for them.

I don't have a family either so, I can understandably see why Red does what she does.

I'll be brutally honest here, it's SICKENING how the medical profession is monopolized by capitalism. I look at the really poor & seniors here & it just makes me ill how things are. No-one takes care of anyone here but, their selfish selves. That's a major difference I see from the UK & US.

Bottom line, if you can afford to go to these gigs (any of them) consider it a true blessing & savour the moment.

I agree with Red on American doctors. The only one worth having is an Osteopath.

They order test after test that requires so much radiation only to tell you after years of putting up with these expensive, senseless tests, that you have cancer and guess what? You need MORE radiation!
Can't sleep? Restless Leg Syndrome? The side effects from the shit they give you is worse than the original ailment.
That's why there's no cure for cancer. Think of all the businesses it serves. Hospitals, doctors, drug companies, funeral homes, florists, cemeteries.

All of us only go around once ( I think  ) and if travelling to see the Bunnymen makes you happy, it probably does more for your health than getting giant doses of radiation from a machine and a giant bill that follows.

Good for you and you day take things one way or the other in my opinion - there is no grey area - so you're good to debate with!

Well angriest comical lunch.

You should be a rce tipster.
