new interview with will: mac won't let him write

Saw that last week - a sad state of affairs. As is cancelling a gig a few minutes before they were due to go on with fans already inside the venue - as happened last night in California.

I think we've known that a while haven't we? Not that its a good thing obviously. On the flip side Will's on a roll these days - solo stuff, and bookwise, Will 2 : Mac 0 (-1 really if we dock a point for starting but not finishing in time) and all this publicity, interviews and talking tours. Not to mention popping down the pub to meet people - and have a pint - just before the Albert Hall gig. And lets face it Mac's song writing is still going down hill.

Won't let him write? Is there a new 'bunnymen' record in the works? The only new song we know is Brussels is haunted, correct

If this is the case, they should split and Mac continue his solo career

They apparently recorded a new album last year and there are interviews around with Mac saying that it was nearly finished but I’ve no idea what’s happening with it. Will was asked about it at one of his book signings recently and he said something like, "I’d rather not talk about that" so it doesn’t seem like it’s happening any time soon, if at all.

Got to love old sarge. I'm sure it'd be the best album they've made.
