Totally different from the '40 Years Of Magical Songs' tour, obviously:

I’d imagine that a reissue of the album is on the cards, and hopefully a remaster.
If we are going to be getting the usual 18 song Setlist, it would be good if there was some variety, and that say 22 to 25 songs were learnt.
Hopefully Mac can sober up a little and give a good account of himself.

They should release the live Crystal Day recording on Lp and play the original Crystal Day set at the upcoming gigs. Something like that would generate a lot more enthusiasm and less cynicism from us fans!

My thoughts
They chopped Les and Will off the cover.lolol looks a bit silly
Mac won't play The Puppet
The whole album lasts about 35 minutes lol
Probably only Silver and Back of Love added
So its the "hits" which are played anyway lol

I'll go to the Liverpool show as I always do, but to try to repackage these tours as something different is getting a bit tiresome. There's plenty of great Bunnymen material we never hear including some cracking b-sides and 12" tracks as well as much of Porcupine. Will we get the 'More Songs to Learn and Sing' tour 12 months later?
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'

We got a reissue/update in 2006 with More Songs to Learn and Sing (with The Puppet removed...boo!). They didn't cut Les and Pete out of the silhouettes on that one even though one or the other doesn't play on about 7 of the additional songs. Just sayin'.
It's a smart marketing move though. Everyone I knew in college in the US had that album and it seems 80s alternative is big again. Try to find the vintage vinyl stuff for under $30 these days!

I saw them in Dec 85 (supported by Pale Fountains). Not sure if this would have been the Songs To Learn v1.0 tour or not. Most of the time tours didnt have names but its all gone to shite now. Think Primal Screamadlica started it.
