Was watching Sky Arts last night and an advert / trailer appeared and I recognised Mac. It is scheduled to start early August.

The only link I can find is this

Just watched episode 2 with Mike Scott. As the credits rolled noticed Paul Toogood named as the producer. Thought that name sounded familiar and a quick google confirmed former bunnies manager.

WAYGTDWYL era wasn't he. Some conflict around the time I recall reading somewhere, though maybe the memory cells are fading and confusing me. My back covered enough?

Never managed a single coherent sentence, as usual. It makes you wonder why they bother, on radio 6 with craig charles.

His appearance on Crag Charles’ show on 6 Music yesterday was much better - about the 52 minute mark if you call it up on BBC Sounds and it continues after the news.

He said more worth hearing in 15 minutes on Craig Charles show, then nearly an hour on great song writers.
Still not particularly enlightening, but had to be better than the previous effort.

Yes I'd agree on not particularly enlightening. Like two old blokes in the pub finding out grey used to live a few streets away from each other.

Watched this last night. Oh dear.
Trying to make out he's better than Leonardo, I'm sure the other three Turtles will have something to say about that when they find out.
