nice one. Never really rated rescue much(compared to the rest of the stuff on crocodiles anyway) but really like what you did with that. Belive it was first released as a download on christmas day some time ago - went down well with the missus.

that was quite recent. No I'm sure it was this and it was several years ago, back when I had a missus, ha ha, so at least 8 or so years ago. Back in the day when the bloke Ivan was running the web site. I remember because it was a really odd christmas - one of my nippers was ill and was out of it and slept all day, so I got to miss out on visiting the inlaws by volunteering to stay at home and I thought, I'll just have a gander at that download we were promised..... the vision fades.......
Could be mistaken of course, it has been known.

It was when Frank (no relation) Coleman was running the site, actually.
It was the first mp3 I ever downloaded.

ah, fbc, see the memory had faded, obviously the mists of time through the halcyon days of ivan the terrible had clouded it. But me too more or less, mp3-wise. still turns up on seven seas now and again, frank that is, not ivan (wheres the cash) smith.

Postby buffalojoe » Thu Mar 13, 2008 5:09 am

i didn't know/had forgotten about that earlier download.

so, whilst it might not happen everyday anymore, today i learnt something new.

i'm going to remaster some of my other bunny remixes over the next couple of days or so [the cutter/foggy notion [my first ever remix].

i'll post them on my other site hear here -

Joe. I'm a bit thick.
Took me a moment to realize...

YOU'RE THE MINDWINDER

...not just somebody fucking with someone else's remix.

First off -
welcome to this, the "real" Bunnymen forum

Second -
I'm assuming Will approached you about tagging the song on as a b-side.
How'd that all go down?

rescue remix

Postby buffalojoe » Thu Mar 13, 2008 11:23 am

it was a bit of a surprise when will said he wanted to use my mix, it was never intended for release [bit more on this on virb page]

i did end up taking some of the odder sounds out of the mix, it was thought people might think they had a faulty cd [glitch wasn't as well know as a music genre then] i think i did 2 or 3 different versions in the end.

i see zoouncaged has an erics badge avatar, i used to make the erics badges for roger eagle, on the badge machine in progressive books where i used to work.

cheeres for all the comments and such.

my plan to rework my remix of the cutter has met with a slight delay, i discovered last night that it's not on my computer as i'd thought, i expect it's on a disc somewhere...
