Have you ever considered that your Bunnymen treasures will be skipped and binned when your dead.

Yes, but I'll be dead so it won't matter,. Nobody's going to get rich off them. I expect when pick of the pops comes on with killing moon or suchlike one of my daughters will say to their offspring, ah, echo and his bunnymen, your grandad used to like them, and the little one would say, who? And she'll say, echo and his bunnymen, and the nipper will say, no, that grandad bloke, who's that. And she'll sigh and say, never mind, he died before you were born. Cue titles.....

Sad but true.

Makes me wonder why we collect.

To me there a bit like photographs or my personal time machine.

I dunno KOK. Well my dad's a born collector, when he was a kid, stamps, postcards, ciggie cards, currently ww1 medals and badges associated with the cyclist battalion (yes really(. But I guess I didn't get the gene, and before VB pipes up, yes maybe he's not my dad, haha. Had a phase in 2000s where I thought I'd fill in the holes in the music and bought a couple of old programs and when I got them wondered why. So I suppose I'm not the person to ask. A mate I met via the old seven seas list, who happened to live a couple of miles away, has loads of stuff, pretty much every release, tickets, posters, I'll ask him.

At this point I'm reminded of a lady I went out with back in the 2000s (solo years) and conversation was a bit laboured so I tried moving it around to music and I mentioned a certain band and might have inadvisedly used the word favourite, how innocently foolish of me.... anyways she looks aghast and says, favourite band? How old are you? I knew then it wouldn't last, but maybe she had a point. I think I might have told this story before......

Actually I gave it away to a Spanish fan.

Money doesnt intrest me and least it went to a good home

I still like to keep an eye on collectables, but dont bother collecting anymore.

I have accepted i am an old fart who cant wait to retire.

I enjoy my grandkids and I take Viagra 12 times a year if im lucky.

The last live music I saw was Julian Cope at the Round House London Feb 2020.

This confirmed I dont even like live shows anymore or maybe it was that Julian was crap.
