aw, preaching to the converted really isn't he (though wouldn't be the forst to do so). Its my understanding that you can't copyright a chord sequence. You're not Copey are you KOK? Otherwise I'm in for a tongue lashing I expect.

Just read an article on the Led Zeppelin case that was settled today. It was settled just as Fat Cherry explains. The musical elements [chord sequence to Stairway To Heaven] were too basic to be protected by copyright. He sounds like an idiot. I mean it's 40 years later, either let it go or take it to court. But, more than anything invest in a mirror.
