So one of my daughters was visiting over the weekend and while looking for something alll of us might anjoy watching she suggested 13 Reasons Why on Netflix, as being the series everyone is going on about. So far so good, all angsty teenagers and suchlike, but with something to be angsty about - suicide, oh dear...... (I would say 'Spoiler Alert' as you're supposed to at this point but its right up there in the first episode so I won't). Also right up in the first episode was Love Will Tear Us Apart, and considering the subject matter, almost a cliche but still worth a listen anytime I'd say. Occasionally you want to tell one of the angsty teens to pull themselves together and stop whining, but generally a watchable show - and a pretty good soundtrack - a few episodes later the Cure made an entry and I wonderered if, you know, a certain other band might get a look in. Well, penultimate episode, oh and Spoiler Alert...., they do, well a cover version anyways. Sure I've heard it before, or something that sounds like it anyways, and at an aposite moment - did I say 'Spoiler Alert', but this is it - Roman Remains:
