2nd time I've seen them in concert, "awesome"!

Hi, just saw EATB live @ The House of Blues in Houston, TX this past Friday and wanted to report. This was only my 2nd time seeing them live but they didn't disappoint at all. They put on a great show and the audience responded in kind. The entire show was dedicated to their greatest hits catalog totally ignoring their last 6 releases but that didn't disappoint anyone in attendance. For a complete track listing of this and another concert please surf on over to setlist.fm, they'll do a much better job of listing the songs played then I ever could. A group I'd never heard of before called Ester Drang opened for the Bunnymen. It seems they're opening for them for most of this current tour. Anyways all the songs sounded great from start to finish. I'm glad I got to see them live once again. Up till just recently the furtherest they seemed to make it was Austin, TX and that was for the SXSW music show. EATB have rediscovered that they have many fans in Texas eager to see them play live if they'll simply make the effort to play live in Texas. I guess that's about it from me except to say I really like this band a whole lot. I hope to see the lads next year (God willing)!

I saw them on October 15, 2016 at the House of Blues in Dallas, TX. It was my first Echo & the Bunnymen concert. They ROCKED!! According to what I have read, the last time they performed here was at a place called the Gypsy Tea Room in 2006. I hope they come back sooner. Maybe they will since our show (Dallas) sold out. Ian commented on the show being sold out when he walked on stage. He was in a very good mood that night. The show could not have been any better!!

I had never heard of Ester Drang either. I sorta like their sound. :)
