Obviously a good gig,

And a cure tribute band - what's not to like?

Funny how they've got three bands called 'Friday', 'Saturday' and 'Sunday' headlining each day, easy to remember though.

Does anyone else find that lineup just a little bit depressing?

not as tempting as the one i actually went to last year. But the utah saints (or is that just Utah Saints)? A couple of blokes playing records? What's not to like. Saw Shed Seven once and they were quite good.

Shed Seven still pop up on my iPod occasionally, A Maximum High used to be one of my favourite albums back in the day. In fact I may play it on the way home from work later!

she left me on a friday always brings a wry smile to my face.

Just noticed there's also a tribute band on called 'true order', that must be worth the ticket price alone!!! Though maybe they play smaller venues closer to home and for much less money.

just had a gander at their facebook page - true order that is, not the sheds, and they have someone down as 'Hooky/Tom'. Presumably that's not to upset anyone, particularly the noobs who don't know who hooky is, though I can't see the old grumpy one buying it.
