The stables Milton Keynes is on the outskirts of a village called Wavendon, nothing else around it so a good choice for Mac audience wise i think. i have a feeling it might be a little different in Bedford in a couple of weeks.
I wouldnt say it was the best Mac gig i have seen, but he was certainly in a pretty good mood despite a bit of a cold. A couple of hecklers in particular a woman who wouldnt shut up all the way through were dealt with pretty good humour!
The set list was pretty standard fare mostly Bunnymen tracks, as well as a few solo's and covers. The highlights were, Angels and devils, Zimbo, Pale Blue Eyes and a simply beautifull Rust!
As much as he tried to get the audience to sing they were not having any of it!
The support act was a local blues guitarist called Ben smith who was excellent if you like that sort of thing.
